Noa Baum is an award-winning Israeli storyteller, facilitator and educator offering her craft's power to heal across the divides of identity.

In a world where peace is a challenge in the schoolyard and beyond, Noa's stories build bridges of understanding and compassion focusing on bullying prevention, developing qualities of character and peace. With mesmerizing animated style, and a wide range of voices and movement she introduces the wisdom of diverse cultures as well as her rich Jewish heritage.

Her one-woman show for adults A Land Twice Promised relives her heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman, illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions surrounding Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

Noa also offers a wide range of dynamic residencies and workshops for schools, staff development, communities, interfaith groups, organizations and universities.

Born and raised in Jerusalem, Noa trained in theater at Tel Aviv University and with Uta Hagen in NY, she received an MA in Theater-in-Education from NYU and was an actress with the Khan Repertory Theater of Jerusalem.

Since 1984 Noa performs and teaches internationally. Clients include:  The World Bank; Mayo Clinic; US. Defense Department; Hebrew University in Jerusalem; The Kennedy Center; Fabula Festival, Sweden; Jewish Theological Seminary, NYC; AARP; FDA; Securities & Exchange Bureau; GWU Law School, DC; Brandies U; Stanford U; and hundreds of schools, congregations, universities and organizations.  Noa is a winner of a Parents' Choice Recommended Award and a recipient of numerous Individual Artist Awards from Maryland State Arts Council and Arts  & Humanities Council of Montgomery County. She lives in the Washington DC area.
